What Services Do You Offer?

Welcome Waggin' offers a range of mobile veterinary services that do not require a physical building/ surgical suite including-

  • preventative care, 
  • diagnostics, 
  • medications, 
  • sickness remediation, 
  • small injuries like abrasions and pulled muscles, 
  • and that most personal of moments- at home euthanasia.


Our services do not include less-mobile friendly items like x-rays, teeth removal/ cleaning, mass removals, etc.

Yes. All appointments are scheduled ahead of time for in-home visits.

Welcome Waggin' is open exclusively for mobile appointments Wednesday through Sunday 10am-6pm. All visits are in your home, by appointment. We are closed Mondays and Tuesdays.

 We're happy to be as upfront with you as possible with our pricing. Keep in mind price includes not only the cost of the supplies used, but also not-so obvious intangible items like top-level customer service, willingness to go above and beyond, schooling and knowledge (UC Davis VetMed school was #1 in the world during Dr. Sara's attendance), the small additional costs associated with Fear Free medicine, and the convenience of us coming to you so you don't have to load anyone into the car. 


Additionally, many clinics are now at 10-15 minutes maximum of face time with the doctor during appointments. Dr. Sara is in your house for a minimum of 30 minutes, typically longer depending on need, talking with you. This enables her to truly get to know and understand your pet and their issues. It also allows for more time for you to address concerns in a non-rushed environment.

Can you get care cheaper? Probably. There are a lot of clinics out there to choose from- some stuck in the old ways of providing pet care. And some of those not only beat us on price but also skimp on their service to you and your pet. Many aren't Fear Free or able to spend a little extra time on your case as needed. If absolute price is what's most important to you, we may not be your choice.


Are we the most expensive? Most likely not. We're in it to advocate for pets, but we try to make a living at it and meds and supplies cost money, so we have to charge something. 


Are you happy with the care and service we provide for the value? Only you can answer that for yourself. But we do have many, many people who are actively following us from Dr. Sara's previous places of employment and choosing her again and again. So, that makes us happy.

 While overall charges vary depending on the services you order and accept, every type of visit self-bookable online requires a Travel and Service Fee and an Exam. Because those two items are mandatory for every visit, we require a deposit (Travel and Service Fee) and pre-payment (Exam Fee) equal to those charges at the time of booking which is applied in full to your overall visit total. 


The Travel and Service Fee guarantees your chosen time for booking and is therefore non-refundable for cancellations. However, with appropriate notice the full amount may be transferred during a rescheduling. 


This is why we request that you please be absolutely sure you prefer a visit with us before booking. Help us help others by minimizing last-minute cancellations and keeping appointment times available. We're available by phone, text, and email to answer all questions prior to booking.

 Please call us at (916) 545-5195 for assistance with a reschedule or cancellation. Cancellations can also be conducted via our app (if you're using it) up to 2 hours before your appointment. 


Rescheduling is sometimes necessary and we understand. There's no penalty for unexpected schedule complications with appropriate notice. Your continued trust and loyalty is more important to us than your deposit money. 


Because your appointment time is reserved just for you at time of booking, last-minute cancellations wreak havoc on our schedule and prevent others from getting the care they need when they need it. Help us avoid that by letting us know as soon as you know. Someone needing an appointment will be thankful for your consideration.

Information Specific To Our Multi-Pet Appointments

If choosing a multi-pet scheduling option: for each pet being seen, please include the names and species (cat/dog) of each additional pet in the Special Requests box on the first screen. We will contact you separately to gather additional information on each pet.
