Welcome Waggin' offers a range of mobile veterinary services that do not require a physical building/ surgical suite including preventative care, diagnostics, medications, sickness mediation, small injuries like abrasions and pulled muscles, and that most personal of moments- at home euthanasia.
While overall charges vary depending on the services you order and accept, every visit requires a Travel and Service Fee and an Exam. Because those two items are mandatory for every visit, we require a deposit (Travel and Service Fee) and pre-payment (Exam fee) equal to those charges at the time of booking which will be applied to your overall visit total.
The Travel and Service Fee guarantees your chosen time for booking and is therefore non-refundable for cancellations, however with appropriate notice the full amount may be transferred during a rescheduling.
Please call us at (916) 545-1595 for assistance with a reschedule, cancellations can be conducted via the app up to 2 hours before your appointment.
Rescheduling is sometimes necessary and we understand. There's no penalty for unexpected schedule complications with appropriate notice. Your continued trust and loyalty is more important to us than your deposit money. Because your appointment time is reserved just for you, last-minute cancellations wreak havoc on our schedule and prevent others from getting the care they need when they need it.
We only request that you please be absolutely sure you prefer a visit with us before booking. We're available by phone, text, and email to answer all questions prior to booking.
Welcome Waggin' is open exclusively for mobile appointments Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday 9am-6pm, and Thursdays and Fridays 10am-7pm. All visits are in your home, by appointment. We are closed Mondays and Tuesdays.
Yes. All appointments are scheduled ahead of time for in-home visits.
We're happy to be as upfront with you as possible with our pricing. Keep in mind price includes not only the cost of the supplies used, but also not-so obviously tangible items like customer service, willingness to go above and beyond, schooling and knowledge (UC Davis VetMed school was #1 in the world during Dr. Sara's tenure) and convenience. Can you get care cheaper? Maybe. There are a lot of clinics out there- some stuck in the old ways of providing pet care. And some of those not only beat us on price, but also skimp on their service to you and your pet. Many aren't Fear Free. If absolute price is what's most important to you, we may not be your choice.
Are we the most expensive? Likely not. We're in it to advocate for pets, but we try to make a living at it and meds and supplies cost money, so we have to charge something.
Are you happy with the care and service we provide? Only you can answer that for yourself. But, we do have many, many people who are actively following us from our previous place of employment and choosing us again and again. So, that makes us happy.
